To manage our body weight during lifetime is the key element for a long enjoyable life and a healthy body/mind structure!

Fat is nature’s solution for species as bears, ground squirrels and human beings for survival, during the winter months in the northern regions of our planet. Fat is also the warehouse for the vitamins A, D, E and K, our body’s best insulation, the cushion for organs and essential for the metabolism of sex hormones. After all, fat is not an evil substance it is an important nutrient.

But too much stored fat is dangerous and helps to create cardiovascular diseases; which according to the magazine Health and Knowledge takes approximately 955,000 lives each year in North America.

But what is too much? According to today’s knowledge more than 10% body weight or a body mass index over 25.

With all our technological understanding of the present time, there is still only one way to reduce fat deposits in a healthy and successful way and that is – burning them off in presence of carbohydrates and oxygen!
